STUDY SHOW CHICS PREFER INTERNET OVER SEX

Now this doesn't shock me at all. My friends all ways find a reason to blast me about the time I spend on the Internet. I'm always blogging, on facebook or Twitter. Cool, that's a good assumption, but one thing I don't pass up for my my Internet habit is a skirt! (Skirt aka women) Now let's get into the hard facts and research on this subject.

WOMEN PREFER their computers to blokes, according to a study conducted across the pond.

Apparently, women office workers spend almost three times as much time with their computers than their husbands or boyfriends.

It is not as if they mind, either. In fact, the Harris Interactive survey of 2,000 women said they prefer it.

Only one in five of the women said she wished she could spend more time with her partner than with her computer. We guess they were the ones using Vista.

Others said it was worth risking carpal tunnel syndrome and repetitive stress injuries just to be with their PC.... The Enquirer

An online survey commissioned by Intel has found, among other things, that 46% of women would rather go without sex for two weeks than give up the Internet for that long. The numbers get bigger for certain age groups; 49% of women aged 18-34 would make that choice, and 52% of women aged 35-44.

Not that males are immune from the siren call of the Web, but the numbers aren’t so dramatic. Some 30% of all men would swap sex for the Internet for two weeks, if they had to, with 39% of men aged 18-34 willing to make that sacrifice, according to the survey. Only 23% of men aged 35-44 said they would do so.

Intel, it should be noted, did not set out to prove a point about modern sexual behavior. And some people might try to poke holes at these findings; for one thing, respondents of online surveys are typically drawn from panels of people who sign up for them, which could make them imperfect proxies for all Internet users. (In this case, Harris Interactive conducted the survey for Intel, putting the questions to 2,119 adults last month).

The company’s goal, not surprisingly, was to show how essential the Internet has become to people–even during tough economic times. That’s important to Intel, since many people get online with computers that use Intel microprocessors.

And of course, the survey came up with other examples to make that case: For example, 95% of respondents said it is very important, important or somewhat important for people to have devices that allow them to access the Internet, and 84% said they saved money by comparing prices online and finding the best deals before making purchase decisions.

But those findings, let’s face it, are not quite so sexy.

I believe every bit and piece of this study. Unless women are playing with there mates before they hit the sack or before brushing teeth, I can't seem to realize when they're gettin it in!  From writing to reading blogs or just on Facebook alone, it seems as if you get immediate responses or constant uploads and updates from your female friends. I know the usage of the Blackberry and iPhone makes it easy with there Facebook interfaces, but still it's a;most every minute. Even on Twitter. Now Twitter is tough to keep up with if you don't have anyone to chat with, but if you do you know that Twitter is non stop all day long! I think it's a lot of freaky stuff going on with phones and computers still laying in the sack. Is foreplay now considered phoneplay? Sheesh... That's where all this damn female tension coming from. Put down the phones and laptops for a couple hours and go get you some! Then watch how your status messages and convo's get better!

Of course we love our computers better!!! They fulfill request on COMMAND (not when they feel like it), give us info when we want it instead of AVOIDING the question, and help simplify our lives rather then complicate them. That's NO contest!! Don't get me wrong, you guys are GREAT, but on an "as needed" basis!!! LMAO!!!!
